It runs the full F-1 student journey on one shared record — from application through enrollment and ongoing compliance. The module has two connected parts: International Admissions owns the application pipeline (intake, academic and finance review), and F-1 Visa / SEVIS handles i-20 readiness, DSO compliance review, pre-arrival and arrival checklists, and post-enrollment tracking. Admissions and the DSO work the same file instead of separate inboxes, so nothing gets lost between offices.
No — and we're direct about that boundary. Campus Credit manages the institutional workflow, approvals, documents, and i-20 readiness around SEVIS. SEVIS record updates are still made by your DSO directly through the federal SEVIS portal. What we do is make sure every record is clean, complete, and verified before SEVIS execution, with a full audit trail your compliance team can stand behind in an SEVP review.
The system enforces the rule structurally. The Admission Officer must clear academic review (transcripts, test scores) and finance review (proof of funds) first. Only then does DSO compliance review open. The DSO — who must be a federally authorized SEVP official — verifies i-20 fields against the intake documents and confirms SEVIS eligibility. Only the DSO can approve a student for visa processing. The Admission Officer cannot perform that step, so the federal sign-off always stays with the authorized official.
Each international program is published as its own public, Google-indexable page. Students searching for a specific program — graduate admission, undergraduate, an ESL or extension program — find that page directly and apply online, feeding a clean application straight into the workflow. You can publish one program or many, each independently indexed, so applicants reach the right pipeline without going through a generic catch-all form.
Required documents — passport, transcripts, English scores, financials — are defined per program and validated on upload, with expiration dates tracked. When something's missing, the DSO or Admission Officer sends a named request straight to the student; it appears as "Requested" until fulfilled, with no email chasing. The DSO confirms every i-20 field (program name, duration, start date, funding source) against the submitted documents inside the same record the Admission Officer reviewed — no re-keying, no version drift before issuance.
Yes. Enrollment isn't the end of the DSO's job, so it isn't the end of the workflow. Enrolled F-1 students use the same portal to submit documents and request signatures for ongoing events — OPT/CPT authorization, STEM OPT, program extensions, reduced course load, travel signatures, and status updates. Each routes to the DSO, captures a time-stamped approval, and lands on the same audit trail. (As above, the corresponding SEVIS entries are still made by the DSO in the federal portal.)
Yes. Every note and action is captured by name, role, and time on a single record, producing FERPA-ready audit logs and a defensible history from first application through enrollment. When a federal audit asks who reviewed a file, who signed off, and when, the trail is complete and exportable — no spreadsheets, no scattered email chains.
Campus Credit sits in front of your SIS rather than replacing it. International admissions and compliance decisions are kept clean and complete, then exported as SIS-ready records for upload into Banner, Colleague, or PeopleSoft. For institutions that want deeper integration, we can align data formats and work with your IT team through your existing integration layer.

Campus Credit is built around institutional workflows, not just student applications. We track approvals, eligibility checks, document completion, risk acknowledgments, credit transfer, and post-program verification in one shared system. Instead of information living in PDFs, emails, and individual staff inboxes, every step is visible, auditable, and owned by the institution.
Yes. Campus Credit supports faculty-led programs, exchange programs, and third-party provider programs within the same platform. Each program type can have its own requirements, approvals, deadlines, and risk documents while still feeding into a single institutional record for reporting and compliance.
Risk management is embedded directly into the workflow. Institutions can require acknowledgments, waivers, insurance verification, emergency contact confirmation, and conduct agreements before students are approved to travel. Every action is timestamped and logged, creating a clear audit trail of who approved what, when, and why.
Campus Credit manages the post-program phase, including completion verification, transcript or credit documentation, academic approval, and final posting back to the student record. This ensures credit transfer does not rely on informal emails or manual tracking and reduces delays for students returning to campus.
Campus Credit is designed to export verified outcomes (approved credits, completions, statuses) back to institutional systems. Rather than trying to replace your SIS, we ensure study abroad decisions and records are clean, complete, and ready for institutional reporting and long-term retention.
Dual Enrollment is a program that allows high school students to enroll in college-level courses and earn both high school and college credit simultaneously. These courses are typically offered through a partnership between a high school and a community college or university and may be taught at the high school, on a college campus, or online.
Dual enrollment helps students:
- Get a head start on college coursework
- Reduce the time and cost required to complete a degree
- Experience the rigor of college-level instruction
- Build confidence and academic momentum while still in high school
From student applications to parent e-signatures and counselor approvals, everything is automated. Real-time dashboards show who’s approved, pending, or registered.
Yes. You can set different eligibility rules, course lists, and workflows based on the high school or district partner.
Students use a mobile-friendly portal to apply, upload documents, and track their progress. Parents receive secure links for e-signatures and status updates.
Yes. It increases completion rates, reduces administrative bottlenecks, and provides data insights to target outreach and demonstrate program impact.
Yes. Each student has a dashboard showing their eligible courses, completed agreements, credit status, and next steps.
Absolutely. The platform accommodates both CCAP (College and Career Access Pathways) and non-CCAP dual enrollment structures, including course tagging, fee waivers, and enrollment rules specific to California Education Code §76004.
While both Dual Enrollment and High School Articulation allow high school students to earn college credit, they work differently:
- Dual Enrollment means the student is formally enrolled in a college course while still in high school. They take the course from a college-approved instructor (either at their high school, online, or on a college campus) and earn transcripted college credit immediately, just like any other college student.
- High School Articulation allows students to earn college credit for a high school course that has been approved as equivalent to a college course. After completing the course with a qualifying grade (usually a B or better), the student can claim college credit, usually once they enroll at the partner college.
Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) is the process by which colleges award academic credit for knowledge and skills a student has gained outside of the traditional classroom. This may include learning acquired through:
- Work experience
- Military training
- Industry certifications
- Licenses or apprenticeships
- Independent study or noncredit coursework
- Volunteer service or life experience
Students can demonstrate prior learning through methods such as:
- Portfolio assessment
- Standardized exams (e.g., AP, CLEP, DSST)
- Faculty-developed challenge exams
- Evaluated non-college instructional programs (e.g., ACE, Joint Services Transcript)
We support AP, IB, CLEP, DSST, industry certifications, and local challenge exams—all in one place, with customizable credit policies per institution.
Yes. Students use a guided interface to upload documentation and request credit. Requests are routed automatically for review and approval.
All requests are evaluated against your institution’s pre-set rules in the system, ensuring equity, transparency, and audit-ready documentation.
Definitely. You can generate reports showing credits awarded by exam type, student demographics, department approval times, and more—ideal for accreditation and state compliance.
Students can upload transcripts; staff can verify grades, and approvals are logged with timestamped actions for compliance.
High school articulation is an agreement between a college and a high school that lets a specific high school course count as the equivalent of a college course. When a student completes that high school class with the required grade, they can receive college credit later without retaking the class.
In practice, it’s the “local AP” system: colleges review high school syllabi, decide which courses match their own, and then award credit once the student enrolls. Campus Credit manages these articulated courses alongside AP in the AP & High School Credit Hub so colleges can track agreements, rules, and awarded credit in one place.
It digitizes the entire lifecycle—creation, approval, tracking, and renewal—so you never lose track of a document again. Reminders and search tools keep your agreements current and accessible.
Yes. College faculty can draft agreements, and high school teachers can review and sign digitally. The system supports comments and revisions, ensuring clarity before approval.
Counselors or students can view eligibility through the portal. If your college opts in, the system will even alert students when they’ve completed a course that qualifies for credit.
Yes. The platform generates detailed reports on articulation usage, including student counts, credit hours earned, and performance by school or program.
Yes. High School Articulation is often more accessible than AP because it’s free, doesn’t require a high-stakes exam, and gives college credit based on the student’s course grade. It’s available to a wider range of students—including those in career education pathways—and credit is usually guaranteed if the student enrolls at the partner college. AP courses can be costly, may have enrollment restrictions, and credit depends on a student’s exam score and college policies.
While both High School Articulation and Advanced Placement (AP) offer students a chance to earn college credit while still in high school, they differ in structure, credit-awarding methods, and control and Campus Credit supports both of these credit types.

Yes, we support batch imports and will help map your current records into the system.
Yes. Campus Credit is built to post approved AP and articulated credit directly to your SIS. We map each AP rule and articulated course to your local course IDs and grading scheme. Once evaluators approve a batch (or an individual request), Campus Credit generates SIS-ready records and sends them through your preferred method (secure file export, SFTP drop, or API/bridge if available). A&R controls what gets posted and when, and every posting action is logged with a full audit trail.
If you’re not ready for a technical integration, you can also run Campus Credit independently. Staff can review and approve credit in the platform, run reports or export files, and then upload those records into your SIS using your existing processes.
